The Rise of Tiktok

📌 One of the biggest challenges for emerging consumer-packaged goods brands is extending reach online with an efficient cost to acquire the customer.

👉 As people spend more time on social media, they’re also likely to spend at least some of that time interacting with #influencers.

May 2020 GlobalWebIndex survey says 96% of US and UK Consumers are less trusting of polished content produced by brands and the pandemic increased the desire for less-scripted content.

📌 A popular example is the rise of #TikTok, the popularity of “everyday influencers.” The types of influencers are on the rise and brands needs to consider the full spectrum of influencers:
● micro- and nano influencers
● kidfluencers
● gaming influencers
● virtual (computer- generated) influencers.
